Specials Worldwide is an independent Canada-based record label and management group est. 2019, Specials is an imprint carrying forth the Vancouver Sound and its persistent influence on modern and alternative dance and electronic music, focusing on creating a new mythos that redefines alternative pop music.

With a multi-faceted team operating in both ‘Vancouver’ and Toronto, the label was initially conceived to build upon the team’s collective life and career experience in music to create a far-reaching & diverse platform for the growing undercurrent of electronic music culture across Canada.

‘Vancouver’, a city with a globally celebrated lineage of modern dance music through vaunted labels like Mood Hut, Pacific Rhythm, Planet Euphorique & more – is home to a ‘sound’ that has implanted itself within multiple genres and communities, influencing artists not only in Canada, but all across the world.

In 2021, Specials formally expanded its services into artist management and development with the signing of budding star and artist, Sophia Stel, further cementing a mandate to guide young artists through the ever evolving opportunities and challenges of the modern day music industry.
